Need a quick and affordable gift for the healthcare worker (ie Nurses. CNA’s. Medical Assistants. Nurse Practitioners. Physician Associates. Doctors. EMTs. Etc. Etc) in your life? You really can’t go wrong with any of these. Find these nurse-approved favorites and staples any healthcare hero will appreciate.
For your convenience I have included links to some of my favorites here. Some are associate links. As an As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you.
- Safety goggle glasses – I gifted a pair of these at my last “favorite things” work party and it was stolen several times. I’ve purchased these same ones several times and they’re both cute and SUPER FUNCTIONAL. We nicknamed these “abscess glasses.” If you know, you know.
- PENS! I know nurses will pry their favorite pen from any cold dead fingers, no problem. These gel sharpies are my absolute favorite.
- Best repair cream. Handwashing becomes literally painful when your hands are red, cracked and sore from the repeated washing. This one is a little pricey at $40ish bucks, but it lasts a long time and I promise, there isn’t anything better. I actually even use this on my dry face in the winter and my face is so happy about it.
- Healthcare friendly waterbottle. This one checks all the musts – a covered mouthpiece (nobody wants their straw contaiminated with aersolized germs floating around the hospital!) insulated to keep that hospital pebble ice floating around all night, and cute colors.
- More pens….These little sharpies here can connect to your lanyard are guaranteed not to be stolen and will always be close at hand.
- A cute little pin or patch for that lanyard, shift bag or crossbody will be sure to make them all smile!
- FIGS. Ok everyone is obsessed with these soft, stretchy, stain-resistant and way cute scrubs. They sell accessories too at almost any price point but there’s a digital gift card option for any budget that will be a hit every time.
- A good lip gloss makes a girl feel pretty even when all the rest of the makeup melted off a few hours ago. This one tingles a little which is a great night-shift wake up call. I love it.
- Compression socks. I can’t do a 12 hour shift without compression socks. Ok so I don’t do any shift without compression socks. Once you adjust to them you will never. go. back.
Have so much fun gifting, thanking, and supporting your healthcare worker! Truly any gesture is kind and they’ll love you just for thinking of them.
